CoxGomyl was proud to provide the facade access solution to the Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre in Tianjin, China. Rising an impressive 530 metres across the city skyline, the skyscraper is a mixed-use development consisting of commercial and residential space, including a hotel.
The dramatic architectural design consists of eight sloping columns to achieve a tapered form, designed to respond better to seismic activity and minimise the surface area of the facade exposed to the elements. The aerodynamics have also been factored into the design to reduce wind impact.
CoxGomyl was tasked with the challenge of delivering BMU systems to achieve full coverage and efficient cleaning cycles for the imposing building. Five Building Maintenance Units were designed and manufactured to maintain the impressive scale and form of the CTF Finance Centre and help keep the iconic centre in pristine condition for years to come.
