Tony Combe

Tony Combe

Director and Chief Executive Officer

Tony joined the company in July 2010 and prior to that had a long and successful career in international industrial companies. His last role was Executive GM of OneSteel Distribution, Australia’s largest metals distributor, where he managed a $2 Billion portfolio of 5 business units and 120 branches. The business processed and sold over 1 million tones pa of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum products .Prior to that Tony led the Asia Pacific division of a European consumer packaging company, Huhtamaki, where he was responsible for 4000 employees across 12 countries. 

 

Tony started his career in sales and marketing but for the last 16 years has been growing industrial businesses as a Chief Executive, and has strong operational skills and experience in sales, supply chain, manufacturing, safety, finance and strategic planning. He has lived and managed businesses in Europe for 8 years and throughout Asia for 7 years.

 

Tony has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from the University of South Australia and is a graduate (order of merit) from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Stephen Scanlon

Chief Financial Officer

Stephen joined the company in January 2011 with over twenty years experience in commercial and financial roles having gained exposure to a broad range of financial and industrial environments, both from within the professional services sector, with KPMG, and hands on and leadership roles in industry.

 

Stephen started his career at KPMG where he rose to manager working in audit, computer audit and consulting.  After leaving he joined Clarks Shoes and as Finance Director prepared and successfully oversaw the business through to a trade sale.

 

Most recently, Stephen was CFO, and a Board Member, of Grocon (Australia’s largest family owned construction and development business) where he oversaw the Group financially for a decade. He was instrumental in creating the current business model that has seen the value of the business close to quadruple with a turnover in the order of $800 million.  He also had operational responsibility for the group’s $750 million property portfolio.

 

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Data Processing), is Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jose Manuel

Jose Manuel Orejon Martin

Group General Manager - Operations

Jose Manuel joined CoxGomyl in 2007.  He holds a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering and has over 11 years experience in the industry.  Jose Manuel played an active role in many large projects in Spain including Torre Caja Madrid, the tallest building in Spain with a height of 250m.   

 

Jose first joined the company as a General Manager of Madrid office and was promoted to Managing Director in the same office in 2009. He was responsible for the full spectrum of regional operation including factory and office management. In 2011, his career moves further to take on responsibility for Group Operations worldwide which includes responsibility for global supply chain and new product development of the Group.

Mark Casey

Mark joined the company in 2007 with over twenty five years international experience in the engineering and manufacturing. Mark has achieved significant success in managing change and establishing a solid business base in building, construction, manufacturing and sales environments within global organisations.

 

Prior to CoxGomyl Mark worked for the German company Festo AG & Co, a market leader in the field of Industrial Automation. Here he undertook several senior management roles across various countries. These included the Sales Director of Asia Pacific, and the Managing Director of several ASEAN countries.

 

Throughout his career Mark has worked with diverse cultures in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing. Mark has extensive global management experience, and as a leader has had great success around business restructuring, strategy and organisational development.  

 

Mark is a qualified Engineer with an MBA from Curtin University, Perth and is currently completing his DBA (Doctor of Business).

 

Wallace Lam

Wallace joined CoxGomyl in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Acting as the Managing Director for Asia Region, he is responsible for all activities in the Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Singapore offices. Wallace has managed many significant projects in Asia including the 490m tall International Commerce Centre in Hong Kong, the 437m tall Guangzhou Twin Tower (West Tower) in China and the upcoming 309.7m tall Pearl River Tower, one of the most significant Green Buildings in China.

Martin Wunder

Martin Wunder

Regional General Manager - Europe and South America

Martin joined CoxGomyl in 2009 and has over 15 years of experience in the Access Solution Industry. He has worked in engineering design and business development roles.  Martin formerly worked for a German based Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) manufacturer and was appointed as Technical Manager in Singapore. For the last five years he has been liaising with GomyL s.a., Spain to develop their market share in Germany. Martin is now responsible for the CoxGomyl sales strategy in Europe, North and South America.  He holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
